Refund Policy for TicketSpot

This Refund Policy explains how refunds are handled for ticket purchases made through TicketSpot.

1. Event Cancellation or Postponement

If an event is canceled or postponed, TicketSpot will initiate a refund to your original payment method. If the event is rescheduled, your ticket will remain valid unless the event organizer states otherwise.

2. Refund Eligibility

Eligibility for a refund is determined by the event organizer. Some events may have a no-refund policy. Always check the specific event’s terms before purchase.

3. Requesting a Refund

To request a refund, email info@ticketspot.lk with your:

  • Order number

  • Event details

  • Reason for the request

Requests must be submitted within 3 days of the event or according to the timeframe set by the event organizer.

4. Processing Time

Refunds are processed within 30 days of receiving a valid request. Processing times may vary based on your payment method and financial institution.

When Refunds Are Available

  • Event Cancellation: Full refund of ticket price (excluding service fees)
  • Event Postponement: Option for refund or ticket transfer to the new date
  • Venue Change: Refund available if the new venue significantly impacts the event experience
  • Fraudulent Activity:Full refund if unauthorized purchase is proven

When Refunds Are NOT Available

  • Change of mind or personal circumstances
  • Inability to attend the event
  • Weather conditions (unless the event is officially cancelled)
  • Artist or performer changes (unless the event is cancelled)
  • Transportation or accommodation issues

Refund Process

  1. Submit a refund request through our contact form or email info@ticketspot.lk

  2. Provide your order number and reason for the refund

  3. Our team will review your request within 48 hours

  4. If approved, refunds will be processed within 5–10 business days

  5. Refunds will be credited to the original payment method

Service Fees

Service fees and processing charges are non-refundable except in cases of event cancellation by the organizer.

Payment Gateway Specific Policies

OnePay

Standard refund processing timeline applies. No additional fees for refunds.

Koko Pay

Installment payments will be refunded proportionally. If payments have already been made, refunds may take additional processing time.
